Earn your Certificate in Volunteer Leadership by completing an 8-topic training series in two days. 

Demonstrate your expertise and professionalism to employers, peers, and the community.

If you are new to the field or want to expand your understanding of best practices in volunteer engagement, this training is designed for you! Each day covers critical skills in working with volunteers:

  • Managing Risk
  • Recruiting Volunteers
April 14, 2020
  • Supervising Volunteers
  • Positioning Your Volunteer Program for Success

  • Recognizing and Retaining Volunteers
Virtual Training runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM both days. Please note that this training will be offered on two Tuesdays; you must complete training on both days to earn your Certificate in Volunteer Leadership.

Join MAVA and register at the member rate! MAVA members, please log in to receive the member rate. Registrations must be received by 5 pm on April 3rd.

If you're a current AmeriCorps members, you may attend the full series for $150. Please contact Polly at the MAVA office to get registered.
