Volunteer Impact Leadership Training (VILT) Series Trainer

Become part of this peer-to-peer initiative in which volunteer leaders train their colleagues on the essential elements of leading volunteers and racial equity in volunteerism. As a trainer, you will join many MAVA colleagues across the country in an exciting training partnership and you will be part of an initiative that has gained attention globally. Your effort will build the quality and quantity of volunteerism in Minnesota and beyond by helping organizations and communities maximize volunteer impact.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Trainer

As a DEI trainer, you will facilitate MAVA’s highly interactive and engaging workshops on topics of privilege, bias, microaggressions and antiracism, along with racial equity in volunteerism. W
orkshops include: 

- 8 Strategies for Creating a More Inclusive Volunteer Program

- No “One Right Way:” Imagining New Systems for Volunteer Engagement

- An Introduction to Privilege, Bias and Microaggressions

- Antiracism 101
- Other topics to be developed in the future
