MAVA will now be able to offer our webinars to Greater MN members at no cost. With a computer connection at your own desk you will be able to participate in these educational and informative webinars. Watch the MAVA calendar for training opportunities.
Along with our conversations on training we also discussed holding the Annual MAVA Conference in Greater MN locations. Please let me know your thoughts on attending the MAVA conference if it would be held in Greater Minnesota. Our possible locations include St. Cloud, Duluth or Rochester. Please email me at

We are setting up additional onsite training opportunities around the state. We will be holding a training in Mankato this summer and Winona in the fall. We are making some changes to our former Skills Based training to include topics you have requested. Watch the MAVA website for registration. These two trainings will be at no cost thanks to the Volunteer Generation Fund grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service. We also have a
Volunteer Impact Leadership Training Series in Two Harbors set for August 22-23, 2019.
