Northern Minnesota Volunteer Engagement Connect & Learn Event


Join us for a day of networking and learning! Meet with other volunteer engagement leaders from Northern Minnesota and hear from 4 presenters who will facilitate sessions on a variety of current topics in volunteer engagement. Lunch will be provided.

Sessions include:

Activating Altruism: Creative Marketing Strategies to Ignite Volunteer Engagement, presented by Cameron Kruger
All Ages Welcome: Recruit and Retain Volunteers Across Adult Generations, presented by Madeline Jarvis
Volunteer Management 101: Tips and Tricks for the Volunteer Manager on the Go, presented by Cheryl Skafte
Managing Expectations: Preventing Burnout While Wearing Multiple Hats, presented by Mackenzie Albrecht

$60 for MAVA members, $75 for non-members

Continuing Education Credit:

Attending this event can be applied towards professional development unit (PDU) requirements for initial CVA Certification or CVA Renewal. CVA certification is the only internationally recognized credential in the field of Volunteer Administration. At the end of the event, participants will be provided with a certificate of attendance.
