Do Better Together: Crafting Inclusive Volunteer Recruitment Messages

Join MAVA for the second of a 3-part series called "Do Better Together" where we will facilitate conversations around important topics in equity in volunteerism. September's conversation will be held at Minnesota Literacy Council in St. Paul, where we will learn from their Volunteer Outreach and Hotline Manager about how she overhauled her volunteer recruitment message to make it more inclusive to communities of color. After the presentation, attendees will have a chance to discuss topics around inclusive language, and will have the opportunity to workshop their volunteer recruitment message with other participants.

Participants are encouraged to bring one or more volunteer recruitment messages to discuss and workshop with other attendees. 

This is a free event. Please RSVP to help us plan the event set-up.
