Greater MN Report

Julie Vreeland  | Published on 8/1/2019

Hope all is well with the goings on in Greater MN.

This month’s newsletter talks about Volunteer Leadership and we have that going on in Greater MN.

I would like to thank the volunteer leaders who are helping with the District Councils in their region of the state.  We are looking at some changes in 2020 but those listed have helped in so many ways to get the Councils going and running smoothly.

Central District Jackelyn Bekius - Volunteer and Community Coordinator
Fairview Northland Medical Center
Northeast District Emily Spurgeon – Volunteer Coordinator – Animal Allies
Northwest District Cairn Reisch – Regional Volunteer Services Officer – Red Cross
Southeast District Bret Adler
Southwest District Heather Ballman – Senior Living – Mankato
West Central District Cairn Reisch – Regional Volunteer Services Officer – Red Cross

These District Councils would not operate if not for the leadership at each one.  Councils are starting up again in October for the 2019 – 2020 year if you would like to be a part of them.  Please contact me at 218.330.1185.

Also a big thank you to those individuals and organizations that hosted this year’s Greater MN Volunteer Impact Leadership Training Series.  We had host in Rochester – St. Cloud and Two Harbors.  Without these host are Series wouldn’t be possible.  If you are interested in hosting a Series in 2020 please give me a call or email me at jvreeland@mavanetwork.org to find out more.

Rochester Series RAVA Network and the United Way of Olmsted County
St. Cloud Series St. Cloud Area Volunteer Coordinators (SCAVC Network)
