Show your volunteer program some love in 2018-19 with AmeriCorps VISTA!
Our members serve full-time for one year across the state to develop, expand, or improve volunteer programming that connects Minnesotans to the resources needed to move out of poverty. We support VISTA projects in the areas of economic opportunity, education, and healthy futures.
Our members can:
- Develop or improve volunteer programs
- Expand staff or volunteer training
- Strengthen recruitment partnerships
AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program funded by the federal government. The program offers members a modest living allowance in exchange for a year of service in low-income communities.
VISTA host sites provide onsite supervision of the VISTA member and day-to-day project management. A typical project is renewed for three years.
Project applications are due February 9. All new project applicants are required to attend an informational webinar before submitting their application. If you missed one of the January webinars, you can access a recording here.
