Volunteer Day at the Capitol (February 25, 2019 9am- 3pm) by gaining a basic understanding of how a bill becomes a law and how to have an effective meeting with a legislator. Learn details about the Volunteerism Bill and why helping to pass the Bill could be a game changer for your organization. Hear from a MAVA member about how several groups used innovation in volunteerism to address unmet community needs and how the Volunteerism Bill (if passed) would support innovation in addressing unmet needs through volunteerism.
