Join MAVA for the next event in our 2020 series called "Do Better Together" where we will facilitate conversations around important topics on racial equity in volunteerism.

This free event will explore organizational diversity, equity and inclusion councils and the role that volunteer engagement leaders can take in contributing to the work of these groups. Austine Vaughn-Bergling, Manager of Volunteer Services at Wilder Foundation and Samreen Saadi, Marketing Specialist at Wilder Foundation will present on their work as co-chairs of Wilder Foundation's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. They will discuss how their council was formed, what the group is doing, and offer for volunteer engagement leaders to be involved in this work at their organizations. We'll follow up the presentation with small-group discussions about DEI councils and the role of volunteer engagement leaders in supporting and advancing internal DEI work.
