Volunteer Bridge

The Volunteer Bridge invites your organization to join or renew membership with this alliance of volunteer leaders serving Sherburne County who are responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers.

Organizational Membership benefits of the Volunteer Bridge:
  1. Network with leaders/managers of volunteers in the Sherburne County area.
  2. Meet potential new volunteers at the annual Volunteer Bridge Volunteer Expo
  3. where each member can staff their own agency’s display.
  4. Participate in National Volunteer Week activities:
    • Community displays, newspaper features, proclamations, fliers, promotions,
  5. Publicize your agency around the county in the Volunteer Bridge brochure and with
    the traveling information display. Get your volunteer opportunities/openings in
    print in area newspapers and on the internet.
  6. Attend member trainings on volunteer management topics at a free or reduced
    rate and learn of other trainings available.
  7. Receive information and support to manage volunteers.
  8. Become acquainted with community resources, especially those related to volunteerism.
  9. Grow professionally as a volunteer manager and service provider.

The Volunteer Bridge meets five times per year to network and plan trainings, fundraisers, and community events. The biennial dues (two year membership) are $60.00. We hope you decide to be a member and continue to strengthen the force of volunteerism in the community!
