Sending letters
Author Last Post
Very cool.  Sounds a bit like a newsletter format.  Thanks for sharing.

Quoted TextWe are doing just this!  I put together a quick, easy to use online form that people can use to write and submit letters.  From there, we will print and distribute.  It has been lovey to read the letters as they came up - we have over 140 now from all over the world.  As of right now, we aren't setting this up as a pen pal program, more like a day brightener.

That's great!  Thanks for sharing.

Quoted TextI have heard from Living at Home Network programs that some are having volunteers write letters as a way of involving volunteers that do not have not through the volunteer onboarding process to have direct contract with clients. The programs are getting the letter from volunteers and then sending on to people served. It is not a personal letter, but still is a day brightner.

Hi everyone,

I'm with a housing organization and we've been considering ways to build some connection for our resident seniors who might be experiencing isolation.

One idea we're thinking of is sending letters (from volunteers and others) to those seniors.

Has anyone done this before?  Or is currently doing it now?  If so, how do you have it structured?

Thanks,
