The Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA) is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Please read the following statement to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make use of the www.mavanetwork.org website.

MAVA maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect member information. You can visit the MAVA website www.mavanetwork.org without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information.

Access to member information is limited to other members and internal MAVA staff or contractors. MAVA does not sell or trade member information. MAVA will not share member information at any other time unless we have a member’s permission or we are allowed or required by law to disclose it.

MAVA uses member information to communicate with membership about association business matters and activities. Member information is provided exclusively by the members themselves, with the exception of information provided by nominators for MAVA Excellence Awards.

We make member demographic information (name, employer name, address, phone, fax, email) available to other MAVA members on the password-protected Members Only section of our website www.mavanetwork.org. The password is shared only with MAVA members, staff and contractors. The password is changed periodically.

Further, if we determine that a change is required to our Privacy Policy, we will notify our membership before we put any changes into effect.
