Off-site sessions will be an innovative way for conference attendees to see our community in action and to learn something new in a different setting.

Susan J. Ellis is President of Energize, Inc.: a training, consulting, and publishing firm that specializes in volunteerism. She founded the Philadelphia-based company in 1977 and since that time has assisted clients throughout North America and 16 other countries. She is also the author of several books and is a well known trainer in the field.

Dr. Kellie A McElhaney is the John C. Whitehead Faculty Fellow of Corporate Responsibility and the Executive Director of the Center for Responsible Business at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
