2011 Minnesota Conference on Volunteer Administration

The Minnesota Conference on Volunteer Administration is now in its 5th year.  The focus of the conference is to bring together leaders of volunteers so that they are able to strengthen their skills and community connections in order to better lead volunteers in the important work they do in meeting the missions of the organizations they are working with and improving our communities.   The focus of the conference will be to INSPIRE, STRENGTHEN, and CONNECT volunteers and volunteer leaders to their communities.  Additionally the conference will contain tracks for both the new and experienced leader of volunteers.

Our Request for Proposals is now online!  Please complete by September 30, 2010 to be considered.


Join the MAVA Conference Committee!
MAVA’s Conference Committee members are ready to get busy on the 2011 Minnesota Conference on Volunteer Administration!! The 2011 site will be in St. Cloud, Minnesota at the St. Cloud Civic Center. We are setting up committees and ready to begin planning a great conference.

We are looking for help in the following areas: program committee members, volunteer management, vendors, registration, and fund development.

Wednesday only: May 18(no early bird discount applies)                                     $115 each                                                                                        

Thursday only: May 19 (no early bird discount applies)                                        $175 each                                                                                            

Friday only: May 20 (no early bird discount applies)                                             $115 each                                                                                   

Early Bird Registration Discount                                                                       deduct $40

   *Applies only to full conference & must be postmarked by April 1.                                                                                                                              

MAVA member discount                                                                                   deduct $35

Hotel Rates
:

MAVA has an agreement with the Best Western- Kelly Inn, directly adjacent to the St. Cloud Civic Center, for $75/night/room.  Please check back in early 2011 on information on reservations.
