| Diane Beach directed and managed the Volunteer Services office at Abbott Northwestern Hospital for 18 years until her retirement this year. | ||

During this time, she promoted volunteerism,
partnering with agencies in the Phillips community and helped develop
the concept of a statewide volunteer administrator organization.
That organization is now called MAVA.
