| Excellence in Youth Volunteerism: Megan McGovern at Sibley High School and all around her community. | ||
| Megan is creative, inspiring and dedicated to helping others. She is a role model and mentoring junior at her high school. She promotes volunteerism through talking to other students through the Internet Club, introducing new students to activities at school, signing students up for Chemical Health Week activities and raising funds for special projects. In addition, Megan helps elementary school children in after school activities, visits senior facilities to visit, play cards or to cheer seniors, and participates in Loaves N Fishes, and supports various organizations like Neighbors Inc., Feed My Starving Children and Second Harvest Food Bank. Megan desires to do great things in her community making it a better place to live, and to set an example in her quest to serve others. | ||
