MAVA is grateful to the General Mills Foundation for their recent gift in the amount of $10,000 to support the Volunteer Resources Leadership (VRL) initiative. Thank you, General Mills! This brings us to $175,000 for total funds raised to date for support of VRL over the next three years. August 2006

Minnesota Association Awarded National, Local Grants to Develop Training, Tools to Strengthen Volunteer Initiatives
The Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration (MAVA) has been awarded $125,000 to develop training and related tools for those who lead volunteer programs in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. January 2006
